(April 30, 2019, 11:04 pm)We brought my parents to Roots for dinner and everyone had a fantastic meal. Scallops, shrimp salad, fish and chips and burritos were all delicious and priced right. The staff was courteous and attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal and night out. Thank you, Roots!

(March 31, 2019, 10:55 pm)Breakfast plate was good. The plantains were great. Went around 11 on a Saturday. It wasn't crowded. Service was good. Reasonable prices. Not fancy decor or atmosphere.

(January 17, 2019, 12:46 am)This Guatemalan twist to food is really damn amazing. We tried a bit of most everything over a couple (admittedly pricey) drinks. Steak and eggs? Amazing. Homemade tortillas? Phenomenal. Fried okra!! So good. Even the dang beans and rice were notable and so so good. GO HERE.
