The food was amazing and priced for a great value. I had the Beef Larb (medium hotness level) and Tempura Shrimp and veggies. Everything was fresh. It was my first time eating Larb so I can't compare it to others, but it really was delicious. The medium heat is about average compared to other Thai places I've eaten. I'd definitely eat there again. My only criticism is that the service can be a bit slow. There seemed to be only 2 people working there, 1 up front and 1 in back. Hopefully they aren't always understaffed. Either way, the quality of the food more than makes up for it, therefore no stars getting knocked off.
As a Lover of all things Buffet, I highly recommend Thai China! They obviously take special care in the food preparation to avoid the typical buffet stigmata. The egg roll layers were as thin and delicate as the finest Baklava this side of the Mediterranean, all kidding aside they were really good! All of the chicken dishes had tender juicy morsels of chicken, not the typical rubbery overcooked buffet slop I am accustomed to. I also recommend you go when you don't have anything urgent to do that afternoon, a nap may be required after you indulge!
This is my favorite everyday restaurant. I go there more than is reasonable, but I figure if Thai people can eat Thai food every day, then so can I. Everything is fresh and cooked on the spot. If you go during lunch, expect a wait though. It gets packed, but they're pretty good about keeping food coming out. Everyone that works here is super nice and friendly. Seriously, just really great food. The basil chicken is made with ground chicken, which I like better than "standard" basil chicken you can get elsewhere.
Not really sure why a place like this with a great variety of Thai food that all taste great, and for such a low lunchtime all-you-can-eat price, is averaging only 4.3 stars. Maybe too many haters out there? Anyway, here's my 5 stars. The fried fish chunks and Tom Yum soup are just highly addictive. Made me feel like I don't ever wanna be full.
