Wife and I got our staples that we always try when checking out a new place (if they have them)…wings & French dip. Both were FANTASTIC. Bartender was attentive and helpful…even though we walked into a scene of someone dumping their beer at him (St Patrick’s day 🙄). The menu is mostly traditional bar food but well done. Owner was very nice and accommodating too. We wanted to check out the Hurricanes hockey game in the midst of the NCAA tournament (and the aforementioned St Patrick’s day) and he was more than willing to accommodate.

Server Hayden was amazing! She was even training and still had a smile on her face and was great at multitasking! The food was wonderful and fresh. I had the Buffalo chicken dip— it was spicy but not too much. My son had a kids meal and it was a good portion. My mom had two hotdogs and they were meaty and cooked well. The slaw was fresh also. The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere is cute and seems like a good time at night. We went right before 5pm. Will def be back!

Coming from New York a state full of foods from all of the world. I want to say, the service and great food they have to offer at hungry palate is incredible. I truly appreciate home made foods, from the sauce to the plates. Definitely coming back again x1000 times !!!!

We were excited to try this new restaurant as we have been going to "Thirsty Palate" bar.
The place not too busy for Saturday night as we got seated immediately. One thing that caught me off guard were the drink proportions. Every cocktail came in a highball glass filled to the brim with ice and only a couple sips of drink were there. Ordered the shrimp app and the buffalo flatbread pizza. The shrimp were nothing more than breading and probably the smallest shrimp I've ever eaten ( other than the ones you see at a salad bar). The flatbread would have been better if it wasn't burnt. The main course our party ordered came out all at different times leaving me without food. The burgers were just ok but the Philly cheese steak was great! Mac and cheese, fries, and tots were all good also. After everyone was done eating, i asked if they still had my burger, which was brought out shortly after asking ( I think it was forgotten about ) and was comped by the manager who was very nice and apologetic. They are brand new and learning so some hiccups are expected!

Cheerful, prompt service and delicious food combines with a friendly atmosphere and excellent draft selection at Hungry Palate. The burgers are especially flavourful and juicy; I'm told it's due to a secret, custom blend of angus huck, tenderloin and short rib meat. I cannot wait to come back for more!
