It was pretty good I think but I expected more. I’ve went all the way to Cary to try Korean corn dogs and was happy to have a place in Winston but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I don’t think they make them fresh like made to order and I like mine more fresh. I like the Kuppoki but I’ve had better rice cakes at the Korean restaurants in Greensboro. I will definitely go back to try again but this was my first impression. I do hope they thrive and grow their business. The vibe itself was wonderful. I think the restaurant was decorated in a very cute way but the cashiers mood could have been happier considering they’re a new place.
So firstly don't come here if you haven't checked out the menu first. Their food does have sugar sprinkled over a lot of their options, please know this up front. Although we weren't expecting it, we had an open mind and ended up liking everything we had. I liked the garlic soy chicken wings. The chicken wings did not have sugar. The snow fries were crispy and covered with powered cheese and what seemed like powdered sugar. The K Dog classic half and half was good, but next we may just order the classic mozza. It did have sugar sprinkled over it. I asked for the spicy mayo drizzle. Our friend ordered the avocado egg toast. It looked really good.
The place was really busy and the line was long. The food was pretty good, but my daughter’s kkuboki was cold when she got it. They nicely heated it up and she said it was better. I will try here again sometime, hopefully when they are less busy.
