Red Crab Seafood Restaurant

Very pleasant wait staff and prompt service! Tender clams, plump shrimp - both superbly seasoned (juicy special). The blue crabs were all small females, but sweet and full of roe, considering today was their very first shipment of the season. The hush puppies were aggressively average - tasted thawed-from-frozen, no dipping sauce or whipped butter. The molten cake was so small and not worth the $6, don’t recommend for sharing; it needed some ice cream or whipped cream to cut the chocolate richness.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Will be going back, but will skip apps and dessert. I’ll only come for the seafood!

P.S. Waitress Chloe’s crab/zodiac symbol tattoo was super cool and very appropriate for her job! :)

My husband, grandson, and I ate here tonight. Food was wonderful. Service wasn't. Cierra was our waitress but she would just hang out at the register and didn't come check on us but one time. If we needed anything the busboy Jonathan got it for us. He and the hostess were the only two really doing any work. They were helping customer's and cleaning/putting tables together for a big party while all the servers were just standing around talking at the register area. Food was sitting in the window waiting to be carried to the tables and the servers wouldn't run it I guess because it wasn't for their tables. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years and that's unacceptable. In my opinion Sierra needs to be the bus girl and Jonathan needs to be a server. Please give him a chance. He's wonderful and so friendly and nice. This was our first time eating here. I will be back because of the food and Jonathan.

Food is great but pricey and my waiter left a lot to be desired. I had to ask for an extra crab legs utensil for my grandson, had to ask for refills, had to ask if I paid at the register because my ticket was at the table so long, had to ask for takeout cartons. We waited so long for my grandson's dessert that I lost my desire for one. And to make matters worse, they were not crowded! If I go back, I definitely want the girl to be my waitress. She took care of her tables. My guy needs training!

Ok, I fully admit it...I am ADDICTED to this place. Delicious doesn't even cover it. My go to is the weekend special (although I also add some head ON shrimp for good measure. ) the juicy special flavor is a thing of beauty. Highly addictive. I can't find a single thing to fault food wise. I can't speak to the dine in service because I have only gotten takeout...however I've been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism from the staff who've taken care of my orders. Very good seafood and fast service! The juicy sauce is the best! I got mild spice but I probably could've gone one step hotter. Our server and and the staff were really nice. My crabs legs fresh, steaming hot, and full of meat! The next time I'm in town I will definitely be back!!
