Carmine Jonestown Italian Restaurant

The food was delicious. The service was ok. It was a little annoying that you get one piece of bread with your meal only and it doesn't come with the kids meals. We had to ask for the oil for the bread it wasn't just brought out nor did our server ask us if we wanted it. It was a little on the pricey side so this will probably be our only visit.

Picked up a carry out from Carmine’s last night and I thought it tasted great. Nevertheless, I can only award 3 stars instead of 4 for two reasons. First, I ordered garlic as a topping, but there was almost none. Secondly, the price was too high, especially considering I paid for a topping I didn’t receive. The other toppings and sauce were delicious. The crust was tasty, but a little tough. The staff was nice and the interior is adorable. The music on the inside may have been a notch loud, but that could be because they were trying to drown out the thumping, pumping, and bumping music emanating from BreakTime Billiards next door.

Service was slow but food was good.

We sat at the booth for at least 10 minutes before anyone took our drink order. After ordering food, it took about 45 minutes to get our food. After finishing our food, it took about 20 minutes to get the check.

Its a small place with romantic, dim lighting. But it was surprisingly super noisy. Our server was really polite but we didn't really want to spend over 2 hours in Carmines for dinner.

Dined here last night for first time with group of 16. The service was very good. I enjoyed the duo lasagna. The veal special and other dinners looked great and everyone enjoyed their meal. I'll definitely go back for more
