Thai Sawatdee

I love this Thai spot. They have the best lunch deal in town. You can get a full meal for under 10 dollars. They are also great for take out. I can call ahead and my food is ready pretty quickly, I like their pad thai and spicy noodles a lot.

I dropped in for lunch and was surprised that the restaurant is actually inside the Harris Teeter grocery store. I ordered at the counter but had to wait on one of the 8 tables for dining in. It was quick hot and fresh. I ordered fried rice with chicken, Thai hot. The food was average and the heat level was not up to the Thai hot that I have enjoyed other places.

Best Thai food in Winston! Something for everyone. If you’re not into spicy, then you’ll probably enjoy their pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken or sesame chicken. If you love spice, then this is your place! Be very careful though, because I tried the Thai spice level once and my eyes turned beet red and I had water flowing from them. I highly recommend getting items mild and trying their homemade hot sauces at the table. They have four different ones and they’re all very good.

Truly the best Thai food ever. The owners are really nice; they use quality ingredients in all of their dishes. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Nondescript little hole in the wall inside Harris Teeter, but don't judge this book by its cover! The service was fast, the prices were reasonable and (most importantly) all four in our party loved their food. They also serve Vietnamese food. I had the chicken pho. It was fantastic. Highly recommended.
