Exciting new restaurant in Franklinton. So much potential and excited they will be offering brunch. Atmosphere and staff were great. Their menu was paired down and had great options. I love when restaurants can stand behind tailored menus that are made from scratch. Amazing place to bring friends from out of town to, for a girls night, and date night. We will be back for sure to try and cocktails.

Overall the food was good, I do think the all of our dishes could have be seasoned slightly heavier. Finishing salt on the appetizer and entrees would have elevated them.

Brussel sprouts: delicious, not overly sweet, but needed salt.
Short rib: delicious, tender meat, the cream spinach alone was delicious but texturally the same as the mashed potatoes. So it would have been nice to have a vegetable that stood up against the soft texture of the meat and mashed potatoes. Broccolini or even a heartier green like kale.
The Andouille sausage: Sausage was delicious and has a kick to it. It was less “Andouille and Pork Belly with Ragu” but more Andouille sausage with a pork belly Ragu” because the pork belly was in the Ragu and harder to find. Ragu needed more seasoning.

Beignets: My favorite dish, but not a traditional beignet. It was more of a Cronut and worth the indulgent calories.

    Suggestion: mocktail menu

Great spot (and one of the few) for a delicious meal and some drinks. Portions are huge and when we were there the place was super busy , which is a good sign. That being said, they could have used some more servers to alleviate some of the wait time for folks.

The food was good, but my spare ribs were a bit tough. Would definitely stop by if in the area though as they had recently opened and were likely just working out some kinks. Great addition to the downtown area!

We ate here last weekend and let me tell you... it was chef's kiss! My boyfriend and I got the calamari for an appetizer and the braised short rib with mashed potatoes and garlic cream spinach for our entree. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The ribs were tender and juicy and the cocktails were amazing as well. The atmosphere is lovely - dim lighting, friendly staff, and clean.
Such a great addition to downtown Franklinton!

Exceptional! Excellent food and great service. We tried this on their third night open. We very much enjoyed every dish. Several small plates which were all amazing - crispy brussels, calamari, and citrus arugula salad. Large plates - chicken fried chicken and prime rib. Only complaints were the presentation of the salad could have used a few more orange pieces or another ingredient. The prime rib was a little over for my taste and lacked a crusty edge BUT was tender and flavorful. Our server was very friendly and attentive - we wanted and waited for nothing. Beignets for dessert were also delicious. Felt everything was a great value for the price. We will be back real soon!!

Great atmosphere. Feels polished and still comfortable. The food was DELICIOUS! Had brussels, short ribs and pasta! Recommend overwhelmingly! Try the Kinship 75 cocktail. It was beautiful to look at and so refreshing, perfect balance of flavors.
