Good ambience and atmosphere.
-No bread and oil at an Italian restraunt at this price point seems off putting.
-The drinks were phenomenal highly recommend.
-The calamari was great
-The main courses were average. No better than any other average Italian Carolina restraunt. Can tell chefs most likely not Italians.
Overall I’d probably go back and sit at the bar for some great drinks and apps but probably not go back for dinner
Loved the food and service! The chef/owner is from Italy and you can definitely tell the meals are prepared traditionally which I loved. Very refreshing break from super americanized Italian food which some people may be expecting. The portions are perfect. MUST try the tiramisu and crème brûlée!! 😋
Finally a very good restaurant in Belmont. Food was excellent and so was the service. Briana was our server. She knew the menu and described many of the items we were considering. Very personable and on top of attending to our meal. We had a delightful dinner out on the patio. Caersar salad, eggplant rolletini, calamari and mussels fra Diablo were all excellent. Topped it off with an amazing dessert. Will be back.
So excited to have a new restaurant in downtown Belmont. Our 1st experience here was wonderful, we'll definitely be back.
The bread was SO good. We also ordered calamari, lasagna and Linguine Mare (seafood pasta). All were really good, but the Linguine Mare was definitely our favorite.
I don't remember our server's name (maybe Connor or Collin) but he was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable.
Just what Belmont needed!! Spaghetti & meatballs is my favorite dish and this didn’t disappoint. Husband’s fave is chicken parm and that’s his litmus test for good Italian.. he said it’s the best in the Charlotte area. We had meatballs for an app and they were WOW! Chicken parm was authentic and pounded out so oh so tender and perfectly cooked. Sauce was excellent. Bread was SO good!
I got the tequila drink and the flavors popped. We sat at the bar and Sheryl & Brandy were super fun. Brandy gave me a heads up the tequila they used in the drink was mezcal which is Smokey and was a good heads up.
Even though it was their second day, I found them very well-staffed and prepared.. worth every penny and can’t wait to add this to our regular rotation.
