Mr. Bailey was super sweet. Red velvet cake was amazing. My kids loved the wings. My husband said the shrimp and grits were the best he's ever had. We will be back
Absolutely thrilled this location is open. We were seated quickly on a Friday night and the staff was extra friendly. Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and on the ball. Food was great ...crispy fries, onion rings that weren't at all greasy, hot and delicious sandwiches that were huge. We were visited at our table by the manager and the owner, both of whom were super friendly and stayed to talk. This location was beautiful and well laid out. Sammy's will be a regular stop for us as the menu is exciting and I can't wait to try them all! Definitely make plans to visit here soon!
Me and my wife came out for our date night and love the food and had great customer service. Met the owner and he was by far the nicest restaurant owner we ever spoken to come check them out. Thanks Jim
Sammy's pub in Dallas. Ate there for the second time. First time was a fine 8oz Angus burger, along with an order of wings. It was cooked perfectly. The wings were a flavorful Buffalo sauce without being drenched, and not to hot. The restaurant offers different sauces.
An overall great lunch.
This time, it was a late dinner. I tried one of their dinner plates. I had the Pork chops. Received two perfectly grilled pork chops. They were just the right thickness. Very flavorful, only thing that was needed was possibly a bit more heat to the slight rim of fat to crisp it. Along with the chops were two sides included.. I chose a salad and seasonal vegetables. Vegetable of the day was green beans. Green beans had a perfect flavor with the addition of a bit of onion. Salad was a reasonable size for side salad, containing onion, fresh lettuce, diced tomato, and a bit of cheese with your choice if dressing on the side.
The unsweetened was plentiful, and good flavor with no bitterness. The coffee could use a bit of help, a little on the weak side and I don't do cream nor sugar in it..
The service was excellent on both occasions. Wait staff was on top of every request and empty glass. Lunch greeter was friendly and great, even suggested a walk around of the historic building. [The place is built with the walls of a fortress, retaining the old exterior brick work while creating a modern interior for one's dining pleasure]
The host of the evening seemed to take a bit of offense that I wanted a booth instead of a table. It was slow so he did agree to seating me at a booth.
Overall, this was an excellent meal and my fat body will be visiting Sammy's again.
Great service and delicious food. Will definitely come back!!
