O'Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

I haven't been to this restaurant since I was a kid so I figured I would give it a go. The food was okay but missed the mark on a few points. My fiance ordered a steak that was overdone and my dad ordered one that was underdone. The last batch of bread was not even cooked all the way and our waitress didn't offer to give us more, I guess because we were nearly done with our meal and she figured we didn't want any more. My dish was the peach chutney chicken which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. All the sides were amazing and our service was pretty great except for what happened with the bread. I love to give restaurants a four or 5 stars if they deserve it but this meal just wasn't up to par to get that score. I will definitely come back in the future and give it another go.

The food is amazing. I never try to eat the same thing but my favorite so far has been the tilapia. If you make it a three course meal, it just costs about 4 bucks extra for a delicious slice of pie and the appetizer which can be a salad or soup. If I could change anything, it would be that they had more side items. Rice, fries, potatoes, broccoli....I mean it's mostly generic. The restaurant itself cannot change that, though!

I keep wanting to like this restaurant, especially because they have pie, but I keep getting disappointed. I ordered the garlic shrimp pasta (or something like that) and a salad. The pasta came out and we eventually reminded her of my salad. (She didn't charge me for the salad) The shrimp in the pasta were questionable. Some tasted as if they had freezer burn.
I ordered cherry pie with vanilla ice cream. I didn't realize that I needed to ask for the pie to be heated, so it was cold. Lesson learned. The staff was nice and the restaurant seemed clean.
It just wasn't an experience that left me wanting to go back.

This was our first visit to this location in quite some time. On previous visits, we encountered several problems ranging from cold food to poor service. Due to that, we have not visited here in many months.

This visit was much better. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and provided great service. Our food was good.

It appears that the issues we experienced in the past have been corrected.
