Great food, quick service and the price was right.
They're ham and cheese omelette is awesome and so were their grits
Food and service is good. Nothing special but local, friendly eating establishment.
I have eaten here twice and the food was very good and freshly made especially for the price. All the waitress and host that we encounter were very pleasant. However, I took one star off for the fact that I have never met the owner but can sense the change in management style from the old Kim's Kitchen to Amanda's Pleasant Grill and the damper of cloud that hung over the staff. During our 1st visit, we've arrived 35 mins near closing time cause we were not aware of their operating hours. We were taken care of but were inform kindly that the owner likes the grill shut off at 7:30PM on the dot when we inquire about operating hours. Our 2nd visit was during regular operating hours for breakfast 30 mins right before lunch at 11PM. After breakfast, we ask if we can have a chicken and dumpling to go if it was ready in the kitchen already for lunch. The kind waitress who didn't wanted to disappointment me asked the owner and came back to inform me that her owner will not sale it until 11:00PM if I would like to wait. It was 5 minutes till. I was just wanting to taste test so we left without purchasing it. When I checkout my waitress kept apologizing to me and I can sense her frustration in just wanting to provide me with great customer service at no-fault-of-her-own. I do believe that Pleasant Grill has great potential with it's good food and dependable staff. My advice to the owner: The customer is not always right, but neither is the business owner. In the end, my experiences make me question if I want to return again....
