Tapoco Tavern

This is awesome restaurant on the water, has the best pizza I ever tasted and excellent friendly service. The place is very comfortable, clean and nice. Stands out from many other places in the area.

We stopped here 2 times in 3 days. The atmosphere is unbelievable. The tables have umbrellas for that hot sun beaming down providing some awesome shade while sitting next to the creek and listening to that water streaming around the boulders. Amazing view that you won't find anywhere else around. The food was good. Order your burger a little on the less-done side than you want it. The nachos were great, and my boy loved the fries. I'd highly recommend a nice long relaxing lunch here.

Food was a bit pricey, but for the location and qualify of food, it was worth it. I was in a group of 10 people and our waitress got every order exactly right, which had been unusual for our group over this past year.

As I stated, the scenery was great. The menu selection was varied enough that everyone found something that appealed to them.

We will come back here every time we are in the area.

Beautiful restaurant with a rich history. It is situated right in the river so there is always a nice view. The restaurant is on a winding mountain road so driving to it can be a bit of a pain, but it is all worth it for the food. Great service, and the prices are reasonable. Would absolutely recommend.

What can I say other than this place is amazing. From the views, food and service. Me and my friends had a great experience here. Can't wait to come back.
