“We went there one rain-shortened ride, because we had heard Johnson Family BBQ was served there. As expected the food was wonderful. Service wasn't st great, but it was a new business and growing pains to be expected. A week or two later, we returned to the same great food, and improved service. Two weeks later, and I tried something simple and easy... a Chicken Salad sandwich. My friend got his BBQ sandwich promptly, and we began to joke about waiting for the eggs to hatch, before making the chicken salad. I asked the server what happened to my chicken Salad, and she went off to the kitchen... she came back with "they lost the order, ad are making it now". A few minutes later, she returned with a grilled chicken sandwich, . I decided the wrong lunch was better than no lunch. No apologies, no we'll comp this, nothing, just business as usual Still one out of 3 isn't terrible We returned yet again... and this time ordered the special "Brisket tacos" Brisket taco would be more like it, a single taco, cut into 4 pieces, and it was NOT particularly good. Oh well it was "nice" to have a go-to-place, that was close enough for a short ride, but we could still squeeze in some good roads.”

“My husband and I go here every year when we go down to Creedmoor for our family reunion. We check into our Motel, go and pick up my auntie and head straight there on the first night. My husband loves the catfish I always get the fried chicken wings. The portions are large absolutely delicious and the hush puppies are the icing on the cake. And of course I get the cheesecake for dessert. We take it back to my aunt's house. All you hear is smacking of lips no talking my favorite place to go!”
