Delicious food. Long wait. I enjoyed what I ordered: fish plate, with mac n cheese and fried okra. The mac n cheese has that home made taste and feel, fried okra is hard to get wrong. And the fish (whiting) was just right. They were out of the beverages on the menu, but had bottled water.

I love Godmother's. My first experience is one I'll never forget. I met the Godmother herself she was working hard when my husband and I walked through the door. We ordered our food and in between phone orders and walk- in orders we began to conversate with her. She told us that her father had passed away that day, she also told us a saying that her father use to say about working hard. I truly love her personality and to top that off the food was Phenomenal. The Turkey wings smothered in gravy with stuffing and collard greens were hitting the spot. I plan on going back the next time I'm in town.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I had the plate that gives you fish chicken and two sides. My sides were Mac n cheese and Collard Greens. Everything was delish, but their Greens were amazing!!! Very nice staff, and called when order was completed. I’d def go again! Don’t be fooled by the location, give them a try!
