Good food and good drinks. Admittedly, I am not a beer person and this is a brewery haha. So, based on what friends have said if you want a good brewery this is a great spot!
Neat little local brewery in downtown Greensboro, NC. Good quality and variety of craft beer. Has two levels of bar sitting and also regular sit down restaurant on the main floor. Outside sitting is attractive and usually packed on good weather days.
The food was okay. Not much variety.
It was a slightly chilly evening when I walked in to this place. It wasn't crowded. I was seated in the middle by the wall one side. After a while I realized the place was colder than outside and I sensed a draft of cold air from above my head, but there was no vent directly above. When I told the my waitress she emphatically said 'oh yes, its the vents blasting air on to the walls thats hitting you from behind' and walked away.
After a while I asked her again if something can be done as it was freezing. She simply said, you can sit anywhere else you like, and again simply walked away. By then I had a couple of glasses of water and drinks, an appetizer and plates and silverware. I had to move it all by myself...
Absolutely loved this place! The casual atmosphere combined with an inclusive menu, allows you to enjoy veggies, fish, chicken, salads, wraps, and much more. The service is excellent! I am so going back again!
Food is great! I loved their smoked Gouda Mac Dining room could probably use an update. The chair I sat in had a loose piece that connected the back to the seat, and I had to keep myself from fiddling with it during the meal. Other than that, excellent, friendly, and timely service for a weekday lunch hour!
I've had their beers many times since going to North Carolina, so I was really interested in seeing this brew house and how they run shop. It was quite nice and homey inside with a lot of space and room for large crowds. I dropped by on a Tuesday night after having dinner in the area and it wasn't too busy as it was a little late. They were just finishing up trivia night on the second floor and I believe this place is three stories high (I didn't go on all floors). The bartender was friendly and provided prompt attention. I didn't notice any elevators so Wheelchair accessible may not be available for the upper levels. Of course the beer was good and I do believe they have some cocktails available as well (unsure about wine though). They do have food here and it did look delicious. It was quite comfortable here, but I would be interested in seeing how this place does during a busy night/weekend. Cheers!
