Ok 👌
My friends and I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Gyu-Kaku and it did not disappoint! Service was quick and responsive despite our large group and the place being packed, and all the food was amazing and very fresh. Cindy and Helen were both very attentive. Very much looking forward to going back!
The spinach was AMAZING. cleans thr palette after a heavy but tasty meal. When they do all you can eat, ima being my friends and feast here.
Went tonight for the soft opening and everything was fantastic. Atmosphere, food, and wait staff were all wonderful and for it to have been a soft opening night everything was as close to flawless as possible. Shoutout to our waiter Leo for not only providing great service but also for having such a fun attitude.
We had a great experience at Gyu-Kaku tonight! They were very busy for the soft opening and I imagine they'll continue to be very busy so reservations are highly recommended. We waited about 35 minutes as a walk-in, so not too long, but they quoted a few people after us at 2 hours. The hosts were nice and seemed to be getting used to their table/reservation system, but they kept groups moving along.
The atmosphere is lively and it's not overly loud, but it's definitely not a quiet restaurant. The decor is well done and the seating is comfortable. The bar wasn't open yet, but it looks good. A small complaint is the small waiting area in the lobby, not a big deal though.
All the food we had was great! Chicken karaage was excellent. We tried a few of the different beef options that the server recommended with each of the marinades, they were pretty varied. The miso was the weakest, but it just needs more time to marinate in my opinion. The teriyaki was really good. No complaints from us!
Service was good, food was a little slow coming out, but that's to be expected in a soft opening. Caila was a great waitress and kept our sodas full. She took the time to run through the menu for us, she was really nice.
We'll definitely be back and I'm sure this place will average around 4.5 stars on Google, so most people will think it's great!
