Sweet Old Bill's

Got the For ages burger with tomato pie. Pie is good but on the greasy suite. I was expecting a big Portobello cap, but it was pretty small. Might be normal for this place. People who worked there were very friendly. Cleanliness was okay. I'd try this place again sometime.

My husband and i have been wanting to try sweet old bills and finally got the chance this weekend. Our waitress was wonderful, loved the atmosphere, the food was okay. We always do family style and share everything, we had the deviled eggs ( good but ill stick to traditional), brisket nachos( wish it had more brisket), and 2 meat option( chopped pork was great but the ribs were not my style)with sweet potato fries and potato salad.

Good selection of draft and bottle beers. Got the cowboy brisket sandwich with sweet fries. Fries were very good and cooked perfectly. Jalapenos on the sandwich were sliced too large which threw off the taste. I'd recommend no jalapenos if you order it. Overall very enjoyable and I'll definitely go back.

So, I wanted to give some time and more than a few visits before I left a review. I have eaten here now over 5 times. Yes, when they first opened the service was a little slow, but it is normal for any new restaurant to take a little time to work the kinks out.

The food is wonderful. It is refreshing to have a true BBQ restaurant in High Point that actually smokes the meats. The brisket is great, the pulled pork is delicious, the burgers are excellent, but the two hidden gems are the smoked wings and the brisket nachos. Wings are not the steroid wings that too many restaurants serve. These are quality, flavorful wings.

Great beers, great atmosphere, delicious food. Highly recommend!
