Sumela: Turkish and Mediterranean Restaurant

I was only in NC for 2 weeks, but was craving good Mediterranean food and was surprised at how much quality was in this place for such a low cost! I can't wait to go back to NC on business again, so I can visit this place once more!

Saddened to have to rate only 4. Very nice folks in this family run establishment, clean and good atmosphere, these folks work very hard no doubt. Unfortunately the food is not a five star material for someone who is rather familiar with mediterranean cuisine, they have a decent vegan selection, if that helps... Their piyaz is very good. clean, pleasant, moderate prices. some ethnic food but overall a nice place to bring your family good location and parking.

The service and owners were amazing! The food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended for a quaint exotic meal.

The red lentil soup was excellent. My friend who dined with me had one of the kebab platters and it was very tasty. We split a hummus which was superb. I really like the food here and truly enjoyed each dish. The decor is also nice; it is a cute place on the inside. Our tall, slender, young waiter with the brown hair was quite the handsome guy. It was nice being served by someone so sexy and attentive. Overall good experience.
