Great food. My only suggestion; they just need to slow down when taking phone orders and at the counter. They are always rushing. This affects their customer service, sometimes comes across as rude (I believe its unintentional).....but the food is fantastic. I love the flavor of their salads and pizza!
I absolutely love their pasta, that and everyone there is really nice! I usually do their take out and honestly it’s really fast considering what they’re cooking. I’ll have to try their delivery soon.
I'm up and down with this restaurant. My last experience was definitely negative yesterday afternoon. The manager told me recently, if I had a problem to bring it to his attention and he would take care of it. I know you shouldn't always ask for something special and I try not to. But I called from work which is just slight distance up the street, for an urgent, to-go Pizza. They said it would be 45 minutes to an hour. It was for a customer waiting at my desk and it was literally the difference in making a car sale or not. So I asked to speak to the restaurant manager as he had requested, to see if he could do something special under the circumstances.. "Nope can't help you, it'll still be 45 minutes or more." Not wanting to displease or lose my own customer. I called their competitor Pizza Vino. Explained the same situation, the same way. They also had a 45 minute wait. But the manager when he understood the urgency, went out of his way to cook me a pizza fresh and get it to me in 15 to 20 minutes and delivered it personally. The whole management staff Where I work was impressed! Service with a smile. At Rome, maybe it was a different manager that promised to earn my business, so I'll speak to him personally and give them another chance. If they do better, I'll fairly report it also ..// ----
We really like this place, but today they were just having a off day. Food was cold and the manager just didn't seem to care. The waitress, she was a sweet girl with a caring personality. I'd hang on to her if I was you Rome Pizza.
In my reviews, 3 stars means “good”. And that is exactly how I would describe my pizza from Rome Italian Pizza. The toppings were the best part—generous and flavorful. The amount of sauce was a disappointment—I can not even really evaluate it because there was so little. The crust was pretty mild and inoffensive but did not seem house made. One really nice thing was the price—very low price for a decent pizza, which caters well to the college crowd with whom they are popular. They also have a thriving delivery service from what I could tell.
