Shogun Japanese Restaurant

Not sure why others here refer to Shogun as a hole jn the wall. I guess small minds automatically think any establishment located within a strip mall is a hole in the wall. I certainly don’t consider it as such.
The service has always been excellent, courteous, and prompt. I have ate sushi here and never had a bad roll in 13 plus years.
For the other negative Nancy’s complaining their particular fish wasn’t “fresh”, well, nowhere in the US will you receive fresh fish for your sushi. It’s all frozen at one time or another.
Give Shogun a try. It’s an excellent value.

Good sushi selection. Teriyaki chicken, rice and vegetables were good. Didn't care for the white sauce myself. Other then that, id say it was pretty good.

Hole in the wall but has good sushi! AYCE for just under 23 bucks! Not a large selection on the AYCE menu but good quality on the items. Service was good. The atmosphere could use some livening up but that's part of the experience of a hole in the wall place.

This is one of High Point's hidden gems. Great food served fast. The servers are very friendly and get to know everyone. A lot of regulars come here. Excellent sushi and hibachi choices.

I only found out about Shoguns about a year and a half ago. I love to go there. The food is great and the staff and owners treat you like family. I like the all you can eat sushi but everything I have ever had there has been good. It’s a nice place to just kick back, eat a nice meal and just hang out with your friends or family. Rose and Sue normally wait on us when we go. Again, they just treat us like family, smile and are very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes this kind of food.
