East Coast Wings + Grill

This trip to East Coast was OK. But that's it -- just OK. When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. Given the fact that there were four or five people working the host(ess) station, this makes sense.

Once we were seated there was about a five minute window before our waitress was able to visit our table. In hindsight -- having watched the scene for those several minutes -- she had been struggling with the order placement computer for the entirety of that time. Nevertheless, during this time none of the hosts or hostesses check on anything. (We we're only two tables away from their station. A few of them were too deep into their phones to have a look around and tackle issues.)

Anyway, our waitress did win her battle with the computer kiosk and made her way to us. She was nice and seemed to doing her best, but she was struggling a bit. Perhaps she was new and didn't have the system down quite yet. Since we'd had plenty of team she took our drink and food order at the same time -- which is fine.

What we ordered arrived, and it was also fine. East Coast is a franchise, and the kitchen instructions are likely very specific. We've been here many, many times and ordered the same entrees. However, both my wife and I agree, they've been better in the past. Perhaps there's been a change in the supply line.

The one thing that really stood out is that I didn't see a single person who might resemble a manager. No one in a different type shirt. No one going through the restaurant checking on tables. Maybe they were short a bartender or cook, and the manager had to fill in in one of those locations.

As I said, it was OK. But that's about all it was. I won't be in a hurry to rush back.

Great wings as always. Its hard for me to find the heat I love while still having flavor, and this place always delivers. Staff were very friendly and accomodating at this location.

Great burgers. We tried three different varieties and all were yummy. The hot chips, fries and fried pickles were cooked to perfection and tasty. And the cookie dessert didn't stand a chance with my kids. They loved it. All this and a staff that was friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

Food is always fresh, and great. Service is excellent, friendly staff. Manager does a great job, it's always a nice experience. We actually drive from S. Main St. to eat there, cleaner atmosphere and better quality of food.
