K&W Cafeterias

One of my top locations for Family Meals. Visited Fri evening I think. Certainly worth a return trip. The place has a cool feel to it. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.

Seven layer salad and yam souffle are my favorites. Great variety of everything from salads to desserts. I got baked spaghetti today that was terribly dry compared to previous visits. It IS a cafeteria after all, so it can be hit or miss. They do a great job keeping the line moving at busy times and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are generous too! Expect to dine with the senior community here. But, hey, they know where to find a good deal and comfort food.

It's good food. Portions are fairly large.

My only dislike is waiting in line longer than I want. But if it weren't good food, the line wouldn't be long!

The attendants in the dining area refill drinks and get any condiments or other items you need. Unfortunately in true cafeteria style you have to wait in line again to pay.

I ate the rottisserie chicken. Chicken was so tender and delicate almost didn't need to chew. Prices are just right. Restaurant is clean and staff is ready to help.
