Tampopo Ramen & Hibachi

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the establishment was clean and organized. My wife and I started with Edamame and the Gyoza (steamed pork variety). Both apps were well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Typically my wife and I would order different dishes, as to try as many items as possible, but this time we both settled on the Pork Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen. The portions were very generous given the cost per bowl. The broth was AMAZING, so many layers of flavor! My only complaints (if you can call them that) were in regards to the cut of pork and the egg. The pork could've been a better cut (thicker would be better) and the egg was a bit overcooked. Those grips can both be overlooked, since neither of them are the "stars" of the show.

Go try Tampopo, you will leave with a smile and a HAPPY belly!

Food was great as was service. Very flavorful and expertly prepared sushi that had a lot of care put into it. Restaurant was clean. My issue is that the owner keeps the tips. TIPS BELONG TO SERVERS.

Ramen was delicious and fairly priced. It could use more flavor and spice options. But overall great. I would love to see more toppings options such as brussle sprouts like a place in DC offers. Will visit again soon.

This restaurant was amazing! It is very authentic. They make all of their soup stocks in house. Our waiter went out if his way to explain the dishes, the restaurants name and to give us entree suggestions. We loved the Pork Ramen and the Vegetable Tempura Udon. We will definitely be back (soon!).
