Our server Fenmi was sweet & semi knowledgeable about the menu. Not happy it took roughly 30- 40 minutes for our food to arrive considering it was NOT packed at all and take out line wasn't that bad either. (However I totally understand she is not in the kitchen so I cannot blame her). The meatloaf was VERY dry and some of our sides were only warm instead of hot. Also the mac n cheese could stand to improve - not much soul put into it. I haven't been here in probably 10 years and I can tell I didn't miss anything. Not one single upgrade/renovation has been done to the interior or exterior. It is really a shame the owner does not invest back into her buildings as she has made plenty of money. Either way the food was decent and enough to fill us up. It will likely be another 10 years before I return.

It was like eating your family food! I had the four drum stick fried with macaroni with cheese and green beans with sweet tea better known as Obama tea. For dessert I had peach cobbler with one scoop of ice cream. The Taste was homely the atmosphere was busy but you didn't notice that you were sitting in an area with many others doing the same as you. I had two guests and they request that we come back again soon very soon.

Everyone was pleasant and the food!!!! You can tell nothing but real people cooked it. A home cooked meal. And very reasonable prices

Hands down my favorite soul food spot I've ever been to. Truthfully wasn't a fan of the collard greens but they weren't nasty just not the way I like mine. But the mac and cheese and potato salad is on point. Tea is perfect and every entree or dessert I've had there was immaculate as well. Plus it doesn't break the bank. Two thumbs up from me ????????????????

We were in Greensboro for a Regional Conference. We had a large group of people. We were given a separate dining room. The wait staff was great. Everyone complimented the food. I thoroughly enjoyed my pork shops and sides. They do offer a large selection of sides. I brought some food back to enjoy later. Our group enjoyed the food and we will return when we return to Greensboro or pass through Greensboro.
