Hams New Garden

Let me start by saying we come back to Hams because the food quality. They have never been the fastest service, but the food quality usually makes up for it. Today was different. There was a big party ahead of us so reason enough for slow service. I ordered soup and salad.
The Caesar salad was great. The vegetable soup was cold. Kind if like taking a swig of tea when you are expecting coke, not good. I sent it back for the chili. The first bite was half warm and half cold. I was done and so was the family. They headed for the car. But the wait staff was still recovering from the big party, so I waited alone to pay. The manager, Paul, came out to apologize and comp my meal. He threw in a free appetizer for the next visit. Without him coming out to personally apologize this review would have been a 1 star. Oh, and it was his day off, he just stopped by to check on things. He needs another day off. I recommend the managers come up with a play-book to handle those big orders without making everyone who comes after feel like they waited too long.
Just a few more points on food quality; some chips were over cooked while others were under done. Fruit cocktail that comes with the kids meal had a lot of melon rind left on, and seemed to either be old or suffering from getting frozen. Hope you can look at these few things as we enjoy Ham's.

Great experience! Jenn was an awesome waitress. She stayed on top of everything. Gobbler sandwich was fresh and wonderful. Awesome sweet tea as well.

Went there on a Friday night because of the live band which was a excellent show I recommend it to everybody. Badd Madison did a phenomenal job of 80's cover tunes that everybody knew and people were dancing it was really a great show.

More flat screens on the walls than at Best Buy. Nice menu - something for most. The bar is long and comfy. Service is outstanding. Pool tables on site. Really nice outdoor seating. Gotta try Ham's chips - perfect as an appetizer or as a side item.

I love this place! The service is kind if slow but not terrible at all. It takes time to make great food that is fresh. Don't be in a rush! ????They make up for it with great smiles and food and atmosphere. Love love love!!
