Boba House

The only veg place in town does not dissapoint. They have a variety of foods ranging from burgers and sandwiches to noodles and dim sum. Everything I ate tasted great and the portion sizes were pretty good. The staff were nice and the service was good. Prices were also pretty reasonable. Please note that this place is not that big and parking is limited.

"Crab" blossoms made with "shrimp" were tasty. They wouldn't substitute noodles in dishes. Dish I ordered was good but the shitake mushrooms were inedible and it had an over abundance of snow peas pods and very little broccoli.
Service was good.

We frequented this place quite a bit in the naughties and cane back today after a decade away. Still mostly the Bob's House we've come to know and love. We had the taro and avocado bubble tea, pad Thai, crab Rangoon, Tate St hot pot, and two lunch soups. Everything was too notch, especially the Rangoon but they lost a star because the hot pot rice was absurdly overcooked and the pad Thai didn't use pad Thai noodles. Both of these things are not terrible but they aren't great either!

I love meat. But my love for good trumps everything else. Love this place that has good ambience and date nights on Saturdays.
Food portions are plenty and delicious.
I just love their rolls and the peanut sauce. Street parking is a pain during rush hours.

This place is cool. I had my doubts about getting vegan food in NC but it was great. I really enjoyed the food from this place. The stuff was nice and the place was clean. They have bathrooms, outside seating, and a bar. The place is clean and good for families. However, you may want to call ahead to get a seat. Lastly, when doing take-out be careful because they do not use leak-proof containers. That was a major problem for my but overall the place is good.
