Hoba Sushi & Hibachi

Ok, My expectations were on the low side but the Spring roll was crisp and the fillings were tasty. The Sushi was almost room temperature which scared me. Spoiler alert, I didn't get sick. The sushi was quite good. Service was quick but it was early for dinner. I'll go there again to try more things off their menu.

Had lunch here and I must say it was delicious. Now I will say the hostess wasn't all that inviting but the food made up for that. I ordered the Bento box and chose sesame chicken which was great. My son orders the chicken and shrimp hibachi and he really enjoyed it. One thing that really surprised me is that they weren't stingy with their white sauce, the give you a full bottle to use at your leisure. Other restaurants charge quite a bit for extra sauce.

The front desk woman is sweet and very friendly. She recognizes regulars walk in and already knows what they want. I come here for lunch from time to time for pick-up. I order online and the food is ready when I come! Idk why this place has some bad reviews. I’ve ate in before and it was great as well. The food portions are big especially for a lunch hibachi special of $8 (for shrimp)

The food was delicious. All but one of the wait staff were extremely nice and attentive. I got the president roll and the spicy yellowtail roll, both were perfect. My boyfriend got the fiery spicy roll and the Philadelphia roll, the fiery one actually had some spice which we were happy about because we usually can’t get enough heat on “spicy” dishes. Will be coming back!
