Fantastic fried fish and shrimp on Fridays! Great selection of homemade desserts too!

The Coliseum Cafe is a favorite of my wife and I. Always plenty of food on the plate. Carolyn s fried chicken is the BEST IN TOWN. She also makes a creamy mac an cheese, not the usual junk most places serve. She makes a killer tomato and cheese pie . Plates are full and you cant beat the prices. Just bring cash no checks or credit cards accepted

The menu changes daily here, so there's an element of surprise and always something "new" to try, which is fun. If you see it on the menu, don't snooze on the candied yams - you'll thank me later. This is seriously the most authentic tasting "homecooked" southern food in Greensboro. It really does taste like a meal at Grandma's house.

The food is consistently good at this cafe and the menu changes daily. The constant variety of selections makes it more interesting. The service is great with very friendly, helpful staff. It's obvious that the owner takes great pride in her business and she has good reason to be proud. She has accomplished a lot and has many return customers.

Fast and friendly service, there is no pretense here, just straightforward good food and good people. Bring cash and tip well. Menu changes every day and I've not been disappointed once. Unassumingly nestled into a random bank of shops, it's easy to miss but hard to forget. Only bummed that they are closed weekends but everybody needs a break.
