We've hosted our wedding reception and my wife's 40th birthday at Double Oaks along with a handful of stay-cations. We couldn't imagine a better place to host an event or spend a romantic weekend getaway. From the owners (James and Amanda), to the manager (Autumn), the chefs (Jared and Dane), and all of their staff - they always make us feel so welcome and at home in their beautiful Bed and Breakfast. They're so easy to work with and always ensure your event runs smoothly while keeping all of the guests well fed with amazing food and offer a wide variety of wine and beer. Even if you don't stay, make sure to make it to one of their Wine Wednesdays to try one of their incredible pizzas while enjoying their miraculous outdoor space! Our deepest appreciation to all of the staff at Double Oaks for making my wife's 40th birthday so special and we can't wait to spend another weekend in Greensboro!

My wife and I had a wonderful Valentines retreat with Double Oaks. The dinner and room were fantastic. The Hugg Chefs were very accommodating and fun. James is a great supporter of the local community, so the B&B and the meals are filled with local artistry and artisanal goods. Overall, a great place to stay and/or eat, and definitely a gem in the Greensboro community.

Double Oaks Bed and Breakfast is the best I've ever seen. We are getting married here next year in May. Thought we would get away for a night to see what it was like. We loved the place before and fell even more in love with it after our stay. The interior decor is beautiful with various furniture that makes you go back in time. Every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and engaged in genuine conversations. Food was amazing for brunch on Sunday! Enjoyed getting to pour my own beer after hours! Cannot wait to go back again before our wedding. This was a the perfect reset and will be telling plenty of our friends. Plan to do a couple of Christmas/Anniversary gifts for overnight stays for family!

Why can't everyplace have this amazing experience!

My fiance and I are getting married here on May 1st, 2021 and decided we would spend a night celebrating our anniversary here this past weekend. It was just perfect. Our room was beautiful and had a bottle of bubbly waiting on us when we arrived. This place has so much character and the staff make this gem even better. We also stayed and enjoyed brunch before we checked out. Brunch was wonderful. Fresh ground coffee and everyone smilling. You can just feel the love put into running this place. The owner even let us take his 58 GM for a spin. I cant wait to come back and im so exciting about having my wedding here. I know this place will be a continued staple in our story from this point moving forward. If you have not stayed here, do yourself a favor and make it happen. You will be so glad you did.

Wow! My husband and I needed a halfway overnight stop en route home from vacation and found this gem!! It is beautifully maintained era accurate with genuine family-like owners, gardens and landscaping to enjoy and of course an absolutely delicious breakfast!! We stayed in The Martin room which was spacious and comfortable. Location is also great with lots of walkable things to see while quiet enough to relax. We will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful place.
