Wonderful restaurant in Greensboro for a Sunday Brunch. I have to suggestions for improvement. I was hoping to see a mimosa option on the menu. In addition, while the shrimp and grits was a delightful dish, the grits seemed to be a run of the mill store bought option. I would have liked to see more color contrast between the roux and more texture from the grits.
The dish, in my opinion, could be improved by using coarse blue heirloom grits to provide color and texture. In addition, plump gulf coast shrimp could have been used.
But don't let my minuscule complaints deter anyone from visiting. I highly recommend this place. The staff is wonderful and so is the back of the house.
Went with family from out of town Brandon was our server. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had stew beef over rice. Good portion and wonderful flavor. My wife had blackened salmon on big salad. She was quite pleased. My son had amber Jack fresh fish. I got a taste, it was fabulous. Going back tomorrow so I can order it. Also the complimentary bread plate had 3 separate breads that were excellent. Entire experience was super. I highly recommend!
My parents celebrated their 40th anniversary here. It was great and they were very accommodating to our large group. We called ahead and was able to get a time that worked for everyone.
We come here to celebrate big events and also me and my wife like to do date nights here. My favorite meals was the shrimp and grits and the pulled pork with Johnny cakes. It is always a tough decision to pick between the two. They buy everything local and it is always very fresh.
Great food and service, but server didn’t read us the specials on the menu that evening. After we ate our dinner I overheard the same server read off the specials to the table next to us. Guess what was on the specials that evening, swordfish. Swordfish is one of my favorite meals. This is why I didn’t give five stars.
