ONETHIRTEEN Brewhouse and Rooftop Bar

Cool space with a great rooftop. Everyone was friendly and a good atmosphere. Skip the 2nd floor “Bourbon Bar” however. Selection was lackluster at best, and prices were double that of most other bars downtown. A little pricey on beer as well, but would come back.

This place is so awesome. They have three floors that truly feel as if you are in a different bar on each floor. Your tab can transfer to any of the floor which eliminates the hassle of having to close and reopen a million tabs. The second floor is a bourbon bar and the bartender made one of the best manhattans I have ever had. They also have stock of some pretty hard to come by Whisky.Not to mention the friendliness of all of the staff. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.

I WANT to like this place, and I'm OK with the fact that it's pricey because the views are spectacular! I also like how you can start a tab on one floor and "carry" it to other floors.

However, I honestly don't understand why, if one floor is devoted to top-shelf bourbon, no one knows how to make a simple cocktail like a Manhattan. On my first visit, the bartender had to look up the recipe, and the results weren't great. I went the next day, and the bartender said he couldn't make a Manhattan because they don't have any mixers.

So...if the end result is that I should just order a shot and a beer, then I don't understand why no draft beer is available on the floor that serves bourbon.

Great drinks, great tunes and great people! Had an amazing time with some friends this weekend. Looking forward to making another trip and spending more time at the rooftop bar!
