Great tasting food. Friendly servers and staff. You won't be disappointed! I a go-to if you're in the area.

Loved the tables and chairs. The sausage gravy and homemade biscuits are worth getting again. Not so much the pancakes which were advertised as light and fluffy but were not. There weren't bad just not light and fluffy. Bacon and eggs were delicious. Staff was efficient but not real friendly. I had to greet the cashier as she received my money and was ringing us up.

Our camping family was in Roanoke Rapids for a quick camping trip and we were looking for a new place to eat. We Googled restaurants near us and Oscars came up. Checked out the menu then decided to read the reviews. What a hoot! We all loved and laughed at the snarky responses from the owner and decided we would have dinner there! Our experience was awesome! Our waitress was awesome, the food was delicious and I highly recommend the homemade key lime cake! We'll definitely go back on our next trip. Heard they do an excellent breakfast!

The outside of the restaurant does NOT reflect the really spectacular 1950s interior. Staff is great, helpful, very much Southern Hospitality. Really nice variety of foods from All-Day Breakfast to Burgers and Sandwiches to full on Roast or Chicken Dinner with sides. My family is spread out. We've decided this is the perfect place to meet and greet each other every feed weeks. Bu the way, we are each driving an hour and a half to meet there (in the middle).
