Sammio’s Italian Restaurant

The only decent place to eat if you live in the Anderson Creek. Simple, non fussy options with pretty good pizzas and an Italian food selection. I like ordering Greek salad with chicken because they cover it with impressive feta cheese slabs

We were rushed out the door. We decided to try Sammio's restaurant over the weekend. Although there were a few customers, no way was it busy. Upon arrival we were seated by the host. After about 4 minutes our server came by for our drink order. We also ordered a sampler plate of potato skins, cheese sticks and onion rings. We had a long wait before getting it. And then it was just potato skins and nothing else. We waited so long for our entrees I was ready to leave. My friend ordered the fried flounder. And she said ' this is wonderful food.' I tried the lasagna and it was great. Our drinks (sodas) were refilled often. The host approached saying 'he wasn't trying to rush us but would we like take home containers. I stopped eating and just packed up my meal. We decided on dessert and I got ice cream. About half way through eating the host comes over to ask if I wanted a to-go box for it. I said 'well it's ice cream so no I don't want a box.'
After that we decided to go. All during the meal he would just stare at me. It was creepy and unnerving. I gave the place 3 stars for the food. But nothing else.

Great service and good food. This location is not as homey and comfortable as the other locations, but still yummy.

Good food. Polite, efficient service. Good dinner.

The food and servers were all fantastic. It was a bit confusing being that the restaurant is in a residential neighborhood in the clubhouse. Once you get past the sparsely decorated dining area, you will enjoy it. Recommend based on the delicious food and friendly staff.
