The Garden State Grill

I got the Balboa sandwich for dinner and it was awesome! The highlights were the steak and the side of fries. I got it to-go and it survived the ~20 min drive, still hot and tasty when I ate. I'll definitely come back

Amazing food! We were on our way back from Raven rock state park and had just hiked 5 miles which left us hungry. The cape may burger was fantastic. My fiance had the potato salad and I had the fries. Both were so good. The service was awesome too. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Definitely will be returning.

This place was amazing. We’re originally from Maryland so when we heard there was a “New Jersey” style restaurant in Lillington we were excited. The marinara and meatballs are by far the best I’ve ever had living in North Carolina. My wife got the pork roll egg and cheese sandwich which she said was also amazing. The staff was super nice and attentive and the beer was ice cold. We have found our new favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to try the other items

We moved here from New Jersey 14 years ago and it took us a while to acclimate to southern food. Don’t get me wrong, I love good barbecue, fried chicken, corn bread, hush puppies and biscuits & gravy but oh how we missed our good old Jersey food.

Well HALLELUJAH the wait is over! Went there last night and the food was off-the-hook! Everything on the menu is just what we have been looking for. This will be my new favorite local bar and grill.

Wow great authentic food! The real deal if you like to explore different food. I suggest the pork roll (Taylor ham). Ben the owner is real deal from Jersey and knows his stuff. Enjoy the food!!!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed.
