Really good food! Very tasty, clean and great pricing. It was a bit of a wait (we think they might’ve been short staffed while we were there) but definitely worth the wait. Service was good for the poor server doing all the work on her own. The front patio is so nice to eat in ?
You can tell that they’ve crafted these recipes with heritage .. I’m from Phoenix az and have eaten tons of great Mexican and I know when a place is exceptional. They opened up right at the start of the pandemic and I think that’s been difficult as a new restaurant, but damn this food is fan tas tic. I’d highly recommend trying it out. I had the Las Cazuelas burrito and their habanero salsa... literally exceptional amazing food. I saw the negative review above mine We are kind of privileged and act like kings and queens. It’s ridiculous these people running this place are making great food that’s worth the wait and if an order is slightly lost in translation that’s authentic. Be patient , be kind and if you’re not farming your own crops , prepping and serving fantastic food than keep your “ I had to wait along time” comments out of this... their food is great
Las Cazuelas is rather new to the downtown area. They opened pretty much about the same time covid came to town so it has been tuff. They serve both Mexican and American food. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. I have eaten lunch here twice and it was very good. The folks sitting near us said the same thing. He had a meal with shrimp in it and said that it was shrimp done right. On my second visit I tried the shrimp as well by ordering the Camarones Cancun. It was very fresh and delicious. My wife tried the build your own Quesadillas and she said it was very good. We really like Las Cazuelas and think you will as well.
