Packa’s Place

An absolute must go! This is our 2nd year visiting, and it's worth the 2 hour drive from Charlotte. It's such a nice pumpkin patch, and you can pet some really cute cows. The pumpkins are reasonably priced, and they have a really nice variety of different types as well. They also have a food truck that visits, beer available, inside and outside seating, and live music so you can make a nice afternoon. I will absolutely be back for year 3 next year!

Parking is limited directly in front. May have to park on a side lot if busy.

Some indoor seating. Outdoor seating with some umbrellas and covered structure.

They have bands playing frequently too.

A great local spot! We love coming here to relax with a cold drink, try the delicious food trucks, and enjoy live music while taking in the scenic views. It’s a great date night hang out, but we also like to bring our kiddos as well! They love to play corn hole, visit with the cows, and pick out pumpkins in the fall.

I have lived near this farm my entire life and never stopped because I just wasn’t sure what it was.
A friend of mine mentioned they were having a Mother’s Day craft fair with food trucks, so we went and checked it out!
Very adorable venue with lots of cute seating areas. We did get caught in the rain for a few minutes but we huddled up under an awning and waited for it to pass.

I was a little disappointed to find out this was NOT a Beefalo restaurant and you can only purchase beefalo one day a week.. maybe that’ll change one day, as that would be a great money making and community bonding opportunity.
Food trucks were amazing and I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the bar.

I do personally find it strange so many bars are child friendly, gives the wrong idea to children that drinking and driving is ok.

I'm so excited to come back when they have music and a food truck. Tonight was unusually slow because of the weather, but was so nice to just sit out under the shelters and enjoy the misty evening. Great location in Horseshoe, friendly staff, and a good local beer selection on draft!
