El Veracruz

Awesome place! Great ambiance and excellent food/service. Perfect addition to the local food scene.

Edit: went back for dinner and thought the beans were watered down, rice lacked flavor and food was salty. Will eat here again but not 5 stars after all.
Southern California spoiled me when it comes to Mexican food, so it has been tough to find something comparable. I really enjoyed El Veracruz torta! You may need to park in the neighborhood because the parking lot space is limited... I hope their employees are not taking up spaces in the parking lot for that reason.

Have been there twice so far, and they have far exceeded my expectations of “taking care of the customer”. This staff is clearly being trained very well in how to be attentive & provide top-notch customer service. I won’t be surprised if they wind up putting the competition out of business, as they have steadily trended the opposite direction- which is evident by El Veracruz being PACKED when I go in there. This place will be around for a very long time!

Stopped in here with a few co-workers to check the place out for lunch. Well staffed with *very* quick food service, which is much appreciated given a fixed lunch hour!

Casual atmosphere. Food was decent, not bad but also doesn't necessarily blow you away. There are a couple other Mexican restaurants in town that I think are a little better in that regard.

Still, for a quick bite to eat I think this isn't a bad choice.
