Joel's Asian Grill

Simply my favorite Asian Cuisine restaurant in the area! You can never go wrong getting one of their many rolls or chicken friend rice. My mom is Filipino and her homemade rice isn’t even this good. Management is great and Joel is always walking around greeting guests. Have never had a complaint here.
By now I’m sure you’re wondering if this is a legit review and I have to admit that it’s not because I am HEAVILY biased towards this restaurant. I’ve been a regular for almost 8 years and recommend it to anyone who comes to visit.

This place is really good. Everything was delicious. From the entree to the sushi. Even the desert was worth every penny. They are average priced for a decent Asian style restaurant but the food and service is anything but average. This is my new go to in mooresville. Highly recommend.

Great sushi place with a local bar feel. Warning: the spicy tuna roll has got a pretty decent kick to it!

Update: I still love this place. It has a very NYC vibe to it (I mean that in a good way!). I can’t quite put my finger on just why that is, but it’s a very comfortable and casual atmosphere along with great food. Every time I’ve been there, the owner is walking around talking and joking with customers, making sure everyone is happy. My kids love it, too.

Food was pretty good. But I was very disappointed in cleanliness. Everywhere I looked I saw something that looked dirty or needed repair. This place could really be a great spot if they would update, remodel and just spruce the place up. Most people want to see cleanliness in a place that serves your food, if the dining area and bathrooms look rough then it makes you think if they do what they're supposed to for proper food preparation.
