We came from out of town for a soccer tournament and decided to try this place for lunch. I have four kids so we tried a variety of foods. I got the burger, my wife got the chicken and my children got an assortment of other foods. They all had one thing in common and that was they were not very good. Besides the fact that it took an hour to get our food when the restaurant was half full, my burger was burnt and the food was horrible. When your child refuses to eat their hot dog because it taste so bad you know you have chosen the wrong place to eat.
Update: After going through my reviews I realized that a 1 star is harsh and undeserving. I noticed that I only gave 5 stars or 1 stars and that is a stark contrast. Several people we ate with enjoyed their food and mine was palatable. I will say the response by the owner was interesting and a partial truth. We sat down much earlier but our drink order was not entered until much later.
Great food. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some great music. Our waitress forgot (but didn't charge) us for our appitzer. We went for lunch and they have a great lunch menu for $8.00. the shrimp chowder was fantastic and the salads are very good.
Eddie's was a wonderful first time experience! Melanie provided excellent service , paid attention to every detail! Oysters Rockefeller were made to perfection & the raw blue point oysters were exceptional. We were a group of 6 & Melanie went out of her way to prove that customer satisfaction definitely exists! Eddie's will be a priority every time I visit the area!
I just wanna say Olivia, the waitress, is great. I was in the middle of a fight with my boyfriend while she was serving us and she was so great. No awkwardness, not uncomfortable at all. She just carried on with the great service like nothing was happening. On top of that, great food and everyone is nice. Drinks are strong though- the fight ended because two of the wonderful mimosas got him too drunk to keep arguing. Overall 5/5.
I may still be a little tipsy, but first, excellent margaritas! The clams casino was decadently rich and delicious. The fish and chips basket was generous, the batter was light and golden, fries perfect. The fried oysters were awesome as well. Top all of that off with attentive but discreet service. This is our go to for seafood now.
