Firehouse Subs

I went there with some friends and was a little hesitant about what I would be able to eat being I am on a carb-free keto diet. Turns out they had salads and I thought they were actually very good. I have had sandwiches there before I was on this diet and always thought they were excellent.

Firehouse subs is the better version of Subway in the sole reason of : they have a wall of hot sauce that is listed in numerical order of 1-10 (1 being least spicy,10 being most).

Wait staff is courteous and the new york steamer in my opinion Is the best hot sub in town
Though I am discouraged by their whole motto for instance only donating 0.13% of total proceeds to fireman when I myself am going to run a multi month promotion for all first responders donating 10% of post tax sales or 97% more
They can do better
And if they can't they shouldn't promote like they do because I assure you
This extremely low figure will come as a shock and surprise to customers
It was to me that when they ask to donate a dollar the business keeps 99.87% of the proceeds

I had been to Firehouse Subs only once in the past. This location had amazing subs and the staff was overwhelmingly friendly. Really took me off guard as they served the subs and had good conversations.

Normally the attempts at conversations are generally met with a kind but brief discussion. But here the staff engaged and even suggested activities in the surrounding area as we were visiting and looking for more to do.

They should be commended for doing the most basic of things which is simply speaking to customer while serving good food...
