    Food was very good and served without much of a wait for a group of 8. Owner was friendly and helpful. Definitely something different from most Americanized restaurants.

    Their flank steak , rice and stewed beans was pretty good.

    You must try to cheese rolls. I stop in to buy some every time I come to Statesville. They’re different than Italian style cheesy bread or anything else I’ve had, and so so good. Really nice people, too. Good prices.
