5 Stars all the way! Husband and I both had the chopped pork platter each with different sides. First the meat is unbelievably delicious. That mac & cheese is so great. Tastes homemade the old fashioned way. Those baked beans.... oh heavens, you could just make them a meal on their own. The slaw is perfect. Inside the restaurant: Great decor, very relaxed and fun atmosphere, and within minutes you get that this BBQ house knows what it's doing. Great service. I would recommend anyone vacationing on the area to make your way to this place like we did. Great job Haywood Smokehouse!

One of the best eclectic BBQ restaurants I've ever enjoyed. Excellent brisket, ribs, and sausage. Staff were wonderful. Parking is difficult but worth it. So not miss!

Best brisket I’ve ever tasted in North Carolina. Eight of us came here to celebrate a friend soon to be married, made no mention of it to the staff, and somehow wound up gifted an entire rack of ribs from the kindness of their hearts. Incredible, unexpected hospitality and superlative meats. That’s a win!

Good food but everything was too salty. Smoked chicken had way too much rub on it. I was expecting home fries when i ordered French fries. The mac and cheese was great. The server was amazing!
We will eat here again.
