Big Nick's BBQ

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The Bbq Is AMAZING their house sauce is my favorite. I'm hooked in this place right now. We have tried it 4 times and everytime it is just as amazing. Big Nick's is a welcome addition to this small town.

My work place had their food catering so I wanted to go on my own and Ibwas even more pleased. Their pork is great! Love it. The women was even sweet enough to bring my food out to my car so I didn't have to leave my dog in the hot car. ????

After a long awaited opening, I was super excited to try Big Nick’s BBQ. I had the privilege of working for “Big Nick” years ago, and to put it simply, I believe he would be very proud of this establishment. The pork was phenomenal - very juicy, not oversmoked, and the seasoning mixture was perfect. Add some waffle fries (need I say more) and a piece of creamy peanut butter pie....I thought I was in heaven. I am so excited to see where this little place goes in the years to come. Congrats on a job well done! We will certainly be back.

While I was in town visiting family, they mentioned that there was a new BBQ restaurant in Sylva. Having spent the last six months in upstate New York, I was more than ready to have some good southern BBQ. My sister and I drove to Sylva to pick up dinner for the family from Big Nick’s BBQ, which come to find out had only been open for one week! We were greeted by a very friendly staff that all had smiles on their faces. I placed a large order, ordering everything on the menu with the exception of Ribs (They had already sold out, more to come on this later) and dessert. It was hard to believe but everything we ate (Turkey, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Fried Okra, Waffle Fries, Baked Beans, BBQ Mac & Cheese and Chicken Tenders) was cooked to perfect and had such an amazing flavor. Their house BBQ sauce is good, unique, tangy, a little thin but delicious. They will be introducing additional sauces soon according to the owner whom I was lucky enough to talk with. We enjoyed the experience so much that we revisited Big Nick's again today for an early dinner, just so we could try the ribs. We were not disappointed! They were just as high quality (Tender & Flavorful) as all the previous delicacies we had enjoyed the night before. I am sure Nick’s will have a bright future as they continue to grow their menu and word of their awesome food spreads throughout the community.

Big Nick’s is the perfect place to go for lunch and dinner! BBQ, brisket, smoked turkey, ribs, burgers, all kinds of sides... there is something for everyone. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience. The fact they they sell out every single day speaks volumes. Make sure you try their yummy desserts too. ???? Oh and they also cater, so if you have an event, definitely call them!
