(November 9, 2019, 9:46 pm)We visit the Franklin location at least yearly but decided to try Sylva's location this year since there are other breweries in the area we also visit. Was a little wary as there was a low rating from one posted review but decided to give it a shot. Was surprised at how different our experience was.
The bartender was nice and helpful. She also sells candles in Lazy Hiker sample glasses and soaps, which is a really cool touch. She put up with my husband's incessant talking, which I give any staff kudos to. The beer was great. The Trailmate Golden Ale has always been my favorite. We decided to try the food while we were there--the tomato soup and garlic knots. Service was fairly quick for us (was there around noon) and the food was good.
Happy that our experience was better than we were expecting!
