Clayton Steakhouse

Service was great. Waiter was very nice. Salad bar was fresh and we came in right before closing. Steak was fantastic. Nicely seared on outside with a little crunch, great flavor, and tender on inside. Delicious!!!

If you are Anywhere near Clayton. You have to Eat here. The Food was Amazing and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel like your Eating at a good friend's home

I love the quaint atmosphere and the food is prepared well .
The salad bar is small but stocked with the needed ingredients for a magnificent meal.
The staff is so nice and really seem to care about doing things right by the customers.
Also has a very small selection of alcoholic beverages. This could use a little expansion of choices, however the room allotted for stocking is limited and it is understandable why this is a fact .

Had the salmon sandwich on Good Friday. I loved it! Lisa was very attentive and friendly. Small family dining atmosphere. I'll be back.

I had never been here before, I moved to Clayton about 2 years ago and my mom came from California to visit me, we wanted to try somewhere nice and its decent, kind of diner-y but a bit nicer, but the food. Oh my God the steak was soft, but not mushy, I ordered mine rare and it was perfect, and the waitress we had was great, and the appetizer portions are huge. Just wear comfy pants, cause you'll be carrying a food baby when you leave.
