Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Great food, priced well, fun atmosphere!!! We are passing through and just happened to find this little gem.

I miss Andy's and completely forgot this place was tucked away by cookout on 40/42. Always good subs and icecream. A little on the expensive side for a cheesesteak and fries (by about $1 more than a mom and pop place) but they have cheese whiz...enough said.

I stopped at Hwy 55 on my way to and from a convention in Greensboro. The staff is personable and attentive. They remembered me from when I had been there two days prior and genuinely seemed to care about where I was coming from and how I was doing. The food is what you would expect from a fast food restaurant, but the staff, from our waitress to the cooks, was incredible.
