Outstanding service and great food. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The young lady who took our order was as friendly and polite as you could hope for. I had their special double cheeseburger with bacon and free french fries. It was more food that I could eat. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on top. And a side of onion rings. Outstanding would recommend it to anybody.
Our friends recommended this local restaurant and we stopped by and tried their double cheeseburger with fries and my husband had the pulled pork barbecue sandwich. It was very tasty! The ice cream and cookies were delicious! The best I ever had. We will definitely be going back. This place is a gem in Sanford. One of a kind!
I bought some Christmas cookies from here. This was my first time trying this new business out, so I didn’t know what to expect. They were the best cookies! The gingerbread men were the best I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be going back.
So, today was my first time trying this place out and I would give it more stars if I could. The first thing I noticed was the friendly and diverse atmosphere of the staff, along with the many options for the cookies. They were having a great sale for buy 12 cookies and get 6 for free and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! After I bought my cookies I started talking with one of the co-owners who was so friendly and down to earth, and they gave me another free cookie on the house. Trust me, if you are in the Sanford area and have a sweet-tooth like me, give this place a try.
Homemade option - on its way to make hometown history. There definitely is not a shortage of local food fare in the town of Sanford, but the same could not be said about quality and affordability. When compared to the other more popular ice cream shops, Catherine Ann’s definitely uses higher quality ingredients leaving your palate feeling more cream than ice.
However, there is only one thing that stands between every new local business and hometown history, and that is innovation. Can’t wait to see what new flavors they will market in the future. I personally would love to see eggnog and gingerbread flavors.
