Golden China Buffet

We LOVE this buffet! They don't do the "crab legs thing", so you don't get roped in to paying a huge price tag for a single overpriced item. The food on the line always looks like it just came out of the kitchen!

Nice lunch special prices food can learn how to stay warm most of the problems is not necessary with the business itself or more like the other people that come to eat they dirty they nasty they touching everything pickle do everything mixing spoons with mixing spoons to get in that people have allergies and putting things on a plate and putting it back into the containers and juice just too much going on you know mixing ice creams together the vanilla with the chocolates and the strawberry with the vanilla like why you doing all this stuff most of the issues you know it was other people you know the baby's crying and then laughing and screaming and talking too loud and everybody to join in that conversation and keep staring at you but other than that the restaurant itself the staff is amazing though the wait staff is amazing although sometimes they seem like they want to hurry up and get you to go home eat your food and leave but other than that they pretty good nice Hospitality nice

It's okay. The food is average. Not great. But not bad either. Typically the food is hot. Seems clean enough.

My husband and I were on our way back from the beach (we live in Goldsboro) & we were both craving Chinese food. Honestly I haven't been to a decent Chinese buffet in such a long time & I hate hibachi because the food is almost always cold & never fresh. So not going to lie, I was a little skeptical. Anyways we stopped here after looking on google. And it was really clean inside, and the waiters were also very nice. The selection is not as big as hibachi, but don't let that steer you away. Since this is a smaller buffet than normal, I feel like the employees are constantly bringing out more food and are more aware of whats fresh or what items they are needing to cook & bring out. The food overall was also very good, everything I ate was hot and had great flavor. it surprised me. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the dumplings, I saw another review up here that said they tasted like cinnamon, which is absolutely true. I wasn't a fan. Another down side is that it was pretty loud in there, lots of kids and people talking loudly. But you go to a buffet for quantity not like a super quiet dining experience. As a whole I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good Chinese buffet & we will be back.
