    I came to Captain D's here in Franklin North Carolina after exiting Winding Stair Gap from the Appalachian Trail. This was my next town to resupply. After being on the trail for over 2 weeks this was the spot that I knew I needed to stop. I stopped outside on the curb and I looked at their reviews online. After seeing it was a 4.2 star rating I went inside and took my chance. I can say this is the best Captain D's that I've ever been to. The store on the outside is immaculate but not in the best spot off the highway. The bathrooms were very clean, the service was outstanding at the counter, and the food is absolutely spectacular. Any day of the week I would love to come here and eat. The dining room is very clean, from what I could see the kitchen and the people are very clean, the food was amazing and the overall staff are very knowledgeable. If you haven't eaten here yet you absolutely need to.

    The place could do with a more simplified menu layout. The longer wait was primarily due to people not getting how to order properly. Otherwise the food was good if you like Long John Silvers.
